8 weeks of our summer flowers beginning June and lasting through mid August. Our deluxe bouquets of locally grown blooms highlight our favorite flowers throughout the summer and all of our subscription bouquets are larger than typical market bouquets. In the summer, heat-loving flowers such as zinnias, lisianthus, cosmos, sunflowers, coneflowers, larkspur, and even dahlias in August. You won't find these at the grocery store!

• Start time: mid June. You will be notified by email about 2 weeks before the start of the share subscription. It is the member’s responsibility to check with the farm about the start date if you aren’t receiving the newsletter.

A note about summer bouquets: There will be 2 weeks during this subscription period where our farm will need to take time off due to weddings or vacation. You will be notified 2 weeks or more in advance. By the end of August you will have received 8 bouquets.

We need around a minimum of 4 weekly shares to sell per location. If we don't meet our bouquet threshold, there is a chance we will reach out to you to see if you are flexible to switch locations. Please share with your friends and family who might also be interested in a flower share at your preferred location! You can even split a share! Our pickup locations in Charlottesville automatically add $2/delivery at checkout. (5 bouquets= 5 deliveries=$10)

If you're gifting this subscription, please include the email and phone number of your recipient in the notes section so we can communicate details for delivery.  We will send you or your recipient a detailed Subscription Guide with start dates and flower care instructions before your subscription begins. Let us know if these flowers are surprise, and we'll keep your secret until its go time.

Make sure you're subscribed to our website so our communications don't go to spam. You are automatically opted in upon checkout unless you uncheck the box.  We cannot emphasize enough that you must be subscribed to the website to receive information about your subscription.

Picking up your bouquet: I understand that my bouquet subscription means a fresh bouquet will be delivered weekly at my preffered pickup location. If I am out of town or unable to pick up my CSA for any reason, I understand that it is my responsibility to find a substitute to take my share. If I am unable to find a substitute, I will not receive credit or a refund for any bouquets that I do not pickup. Pickup time parameters are specific to the host location. It is my responsibility to pick up my share during the designated time period on the designated day. I understand that if my bouquet is not picked up on the designated day, within the designated time, I forfeit that bouquet and it will be donated at the discretion of the host pickup location. There is slightly more flexibility with farm pick up (if given a 24 hour notice).

Referrals: If you are a previous CSA member and you refer a new CSA member our way, you will earn a $10 coupon which can be applied to your current CSA purchase or anything on our farm. It’s a WIN for everyone. All you need to do is send us an email at foothillsva@gmail.com and tell us who the new member’s name is and we will get both of you set up!
